WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

When it comes to the role of the Church investing in our students, we at Bethany Church have taken on one, main focus: helping students to come to know and follow Christ with commitment and passion. We are firmly committed to teaching the Word of God, offering students opportunities to serve, challenging students to follow Jesus with all they have. To do this, we work with a group of gifted adult leaders who serve as mentors and teachers for our junior and senior high students.

At the core of what we are teaching at Bethany are The 7 Checkpoints. These seven key values were compiled into a book by Andy Stanley and Stuart Hall and when learned and internalized the result is a student who loves Jesus, knows why, and who is very likely to be a Christ-follower for all of his or her life. Additionally, we are emphasizing that families are the key spiritual influence in the lives of young people, and so we are offering more resources and opportunities for parents and families to invest in their students.
