Shawl Ministry

“Shawls … made for centuries universal and embracing,
symbolic of an inclusive, unconditionally loving, God.
They wrap, enfold, comfort, cover, give solace, mother, hug, shelter and beautify.
Those who have received these shawls have been uplifted and affirmed,
as if given wings to fly above their troubles…” Janet Severi Bristow

    Good Morning,
I want to thank the Shawl ministry for my prayer shawl. Lane Henderson had gotten one for me, but do to snow storms and illness we were unable to meet on Monday’s. I just received it this past Monday, a lovely black and grey shawl. I thank you for your hard work, and the sentiment behind it.
Thanks so very much, and God Bless

Andrea – We are so happy to hear you were blessed by your prayer shawl. Many shawls have been given out over the years and many hearts have been touched by this sweet gesture. The women that craft these shawls have a ‘heart to comfort’.
