The Ministry

Bruce and Miriam are using the Word of God to affect positive change in the city of La Paz with an emphasis on Biblical Worldview, educating Christians to think and act Biblically in all spheres of life such as work, school and home. They are working toward change in family life, marriage and parent-child relationships through preaching and teaching in the main church services, with the children’s and young couples ministries, as well as premarital and marriage counseling. Bruce co-pastors the 11-year-old church plant in La Paz and oversees the church plants in the city of Oruro as well as in Bolivia’s altiplano with the Aymara Indians. Miriam heads up the social services department of the church and is also very actively participating in the children’s ministry team. Likeminded leadership is being raised up for all areas of ministry. The church grows through the efforts of the members acting out and sharing their faith.

About the Saldi Family

Bruce grew up in Hampton, New Hampshire and was an electrician by trade. In November of 1984 He left for Bolivia to serve with Food for the Hungry. Miriam graduated from college as a licensed social worker and was the supervisor of the child sponsorship program in La Paz. They have transitioned from Food for the Hungry and are now serving with World Outreach Ministries. Daniel and Caitlyn are living in Indiana, and Steve and Olivia are in Pennsylvania.
