We are very excited for our CASKET EMPTY study this coming year and for the fruit that will come out of these groups. The CASKET EMPTY series covers both the Old and New Testaments. Small groups for the study will be broken down into three different periods. We are currently looking for facilitators for the first block of small groups. Those who sign up to facilitate will be given the opportunity to continue with their group in future sessions but are not required to do so.

  • The first block of small groups (looking at week 1 to week 9 of the Old Testament study), will begin the week of September 29 and go through the week of November 24.
  • The second block of small groups (looking at week 10 to week 18 of the Old Testament study), will begin the week of January 5 and go through the week of March 2.
  • The third block of small groups (looking at week 1 to week 13 of the New Testament study), will begin the week of March 23 and go through June 22.

All facilitators will receive the CASKET EMPTY Study Guide which will give you information that is additional to what is found in the Bible Study Guide. You will also be resourced with weekly small group guides that will help you facilitate your group during the study, along with additional opportunities for training and coaching. Our first CASKET EMPTY training will take place on Sunday, September 22, from 12:30 – 2:30 PM in the café at the Greenland campus after the second service.
